Florida RV Supershow

off

Sandy and I flew to Tampa to spend 2 days at the largest RV show in the country. We have recently shifted our thinking from a fifth wheel with truck to a class A and towing a car. In December, we traded the (untowable) Escape for an Acadia.

I was looking at 2 or 3 diesel pusher manufacturers. The problem was that no dealers had them sitting on lots close to us so we could try them on. All these companies were going to be in Florida so we thought it was a good investment to take this trip. It also was a good time to leave the snow for warm weather.

After a couple of days of thoroughly walking the state fairgrounds, we were exhausted! We did run into Sandy’s friend from high school, Karen. She and her husband were checking out truck campers. We got to have dinner with them before we flew back. Our flight was delayed a day due to heavy snow in Ohio. It took a while to dig our car out!
