Here we go!
The last weekend of September, we got a cabin at Put-in-bay. Kevin and Sarah camped at the State Park. We all took our bikes and spent several days exploring. The Perry Peace Memorial commemorates the Lake Erie naval battle of 1812. This is a National Monument. My recent purchase of a national pass got us all to the top.The island has some beautiful views and interesting things to do. We enjoyed the butterfly garden, caverns, and winery. Sandy was ready to get serious for us to get an RV. So Monday, we went to a local dealer to see what they had.We have toured many motorhomes over the last year- trying them on for size (in my case). We have always tried to imagine living for an extended period in the space. As a change of pace, we had this dealer show us small motorhomes first and we worked our way up.A 2017 37 foot motorhome had just come in on Saturday. It wasn’t officially in their system yet. The manufacturer was at the top of my list for overall quality and long term livability. The floor plan was unique to us. We liked this much better than the new ones we have looked at.We were shocked to actually purchase it that day. We have been looking at RVs so long… We felt good about this particular one. It’s time for our camping adventures!
